Five time Prism Award Winners

Ron and Cliff Brune, family principals of Traditional Homes Corporation, have a combined experience of over 65 years in real estate, finance, development and construction, as well as sales and marketing . This extensive experience in all aspects of residential subdivision development and new home construction taught them the importance of using the land’s features to complement the layout of the neighborhood and the homes built there. The numerous Prism awards and top builder commendations in this area have resulted from their continued emphasis on the word neighborhood.

Both brothers proudly note “We grew up in a neighborhood, not a subdivision. The homes were closer together, much like we are going back to today, but so were the people who lived in them. The closeness of the houses wasn’t really noticeable, since they were all distinctive and different. That is the vision we use when we have the opportunity to acquire the land and plan the layout.

With distinctive architecture in mind, William H. Phillips, Jr., AIA, hand designs the homes. The goal is to design distinctive, traditional homes which are affordable, while offering high quality features and materials using the latest state-of-the-art materials and maintenance free concepts but applying time-proven stick-built methods. Bill has a long and distinguished career in the traditional architecture, which includes ten years with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in Virginia and the restoration of the White House. Many of his plans are featured in “Southern Living” magazine and Bill is a featured architect on their house plans web site.
