1. FOOTING & FOUNDATION - At THC we only use traditional "crawl space" construction - and yes it costs more. Most "slab" builders will charge thousands more for the quality and appearance of a crawl space home. Would you consider building your home on a drive way?

2. FRAMING – We still stick-frame your home the old fashioned way.

3.EXTERIOR FINISHES – Our customers tell us over and over again they want attractive but low maintenance finishes on their homes. With this in mind we chose Certainteed’s Carolina Beaded and Restoration Collection vinyl siding as our standard since they have excellent appearance which complements the Southern Living architectural style of our homes.  In our opinion, this is the best product available from an appearance and maintenance standpoint and it comes with a lifetime warranty. We have been using this product for over ten years and it has stood the test of time. There are many concrete-fiber products which require constant painting and caulking. How do you want to spend your time and money?

4. MECHANICAL SYSTEMS - Since it is "new", many people don't look very closely at the Electrical, Plumbing, or Heating/Cooling systems in a new home, BUT YOU SHOULD!

5. INTERIOR FINISHES - We want the exterior of your home to have great curb appeal, but we all live inside our homes. With that in mind we have tried to combine attractive, tasteful finishes with proven construction techniques.
